I regard time travels as most interesting but as a still unresolved question to me.

(OBE Letter 498) Hi Alfred,
Perhaps you can give me your views on astral travel into the future. I experienced this by travelling two days into the future to see an event prior to it happening and experienced the ability to be amongst people without them being able to see me. More startling was that in trying to grab the one individual, my arms passed right through him. Persons I saw at the time were unable to see or hear me.

The second incident which I am unable to explain except to tell you that it did take place was the entering of two individual peoples bodies and the experiencing the emotional turmoil. Especially the lady, who's emotional destruction I experienced so vividly that I was "jolted" back to wake up crying. Next to me my wife was awake and also crying, seeing me like that and not knowing why I was crying.

I don't know who these people are or why I was put in this situation. I presume that I am supposed to help them in some way yet I don't know how. The dress and home was too modern to have anything to do with past life transgression.

In both instances, they were spontaneous and prompted me to attempt astral travel purposely, yet not with as much success as the two incidents. I don't drink nor smoke. At the time I was aged 34 and 38 respectively. I am now 40 years old.

The body entering incident left me drained of energy and worn out. At the stage I was completely free of any kind of malice, hate, greed or any other emotional state which could have prompted this experiece.
Have you ever had similar reports or do you have an explanation for what took place?.

I had several time travels, most of them into the past and some few travels, which could have been travels into the future, a future, which is still far beyond of our presence, though I had these travels about 25 years ago. Though the "signs" of our present world (climatic changes) tend into the same direction, I can't verify these travels and one could explain them as well as a sight into "parallel worlds", further as a sight on an astral future (mental-model) plane or prefer other explanations.

Your travels, dear Michael, have more logic indications of being real time travels in opposite to those of mine (for example that you could not be seen and that you have been spirit like).

Time travels into the past I had more than future travels. Mostly it had been short passages of life or short encounters, with no accurate dates, which I could use to verify the experience as a real travel into the past. Nevertheless these experiences made me very curious on the fact of time travelling.

Three weeks ago I had two travels into the past (perhaps into parallel worlds with a civilization as we had in the past - I will keep this in evidence as an other aspect of explanation), in which I was unwillingly obsessing two people, without inputs of their feelings and nearly no knowledge of their life. This interference of mine seemed to be rather a catastrophe than to be of sustain for these people:

In the first travel I was in the body of a very rich and political powerful noble man, in a time as it seemed about the midst of the 18 th century and in a country like those of Europe. I was in a great castle with wide floors and luxurious stair ways. Aside to me was a servant, an older man who was very devoted to me. Having the consciousness of being in the state of OBEing and having the sense for exploration I wanted to go on street to see what there was around. My servant was alarmed, because this was unusual and dangerous to go there without armed body guards. I did not give him the opportunity to call some men for protecting me and he begged me to have a walk in the wide park of the castle. But I wanted to go on street. He went with me and after some instances of walking on a broad crowded street I was back in my physical body again, without knowing how this adventure of the noble man had ended.

The second travel was really dramatic.
In a kind of prelude I spoke with an older woman, who had become crazy because of the death of one of her grown up children. I wanted to calm her, telling her that life will be continued after the so called death and that in reality nothing is lost.

After the conversation with the old woman there was a break and I was in the body of a rich businessman, could have been approximately at the time of about 1900. This businessman seemed to have great problems. I felt that the problems were centered to a so called "friend", who just was entering the home and who was searching me systematically, assuming that I was hiding, and opening the doors and looking into one room after the other along a corridor - I was standing behind a curtain observing him. When he entered the last room, that in which I was inside, I thought "well, it's only an astral travel and I can avoid every unpleasant situation by flying away" - so I sprang out of the window. From this moment on the travel changed to a kind of lucid dream with an unrealistic landscape and objects in it which gave me sustain for wide jumps.

When I was awake, I was very disturbed and I was confused about the fact, if my "obsession" has caused endangering and suicide of persons in an unknown time- or other dimension.
