Hallo zusammen!
Vielleicht ist ja doch was wahres dran.
Sebastian H.

The Bay had been heavily polluted in the past. However, due to great efforts, the situation improved during last 5-7 years. At present, marine ecosystems of the Bay are very sensitive. That is why the current pollution is bringing a lot of damage. The affected area is very large, oil is moving and extremely difficult to control. Reportedly, some oil has already reached the Marmara Sea. Certain clean up operations are being carried out, with limited resources. However, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible to complete these operations before September, when fishing season starts. It means that fishery activities would be badly damaged, as selling fish would be prohibited.

Drunvalo Melchezedek is a revered and trusted member of this, loosely described group of logical misfits known as “the new age”, metaphysical community, spiritually based social group or whatever. Who the heck are we, anyway? Are we Lightworkers--people that believe what we think makes a big difference in how reality works? Do we believe in mind-over-matter? Drunvalo claims that some special water, (H2O with a multitude of free-electrons, and other outstanding characteristics), not only exists, but was given to people in Turkey, whereupon this water was used to eliminate all the pollution in Izmit Bay, Turkey, and is known to have demonstrated the ability to do more miraculous things than that. He further states that he, personally witnessed such miraculous demonstrations. It would therefore follow, that having made such statements, and endorsed the efficacy of this water, that one would have no problem duplicating the simple experiments mentioned in the article being published, excerpts to follow.

This paper describes the use of GIS modeling to identify and quantify aquaculture opportunities in a polluted bay. The models were arranged to evaluate the bay in terms of fish and mollusk culture, and the principal culture species selected were the turbot Psetta maxima and mussel Myalus galloprobincialis. Baseline topographic data was extracted from a Landsat TM image of Izmit Bay acquired in 1996. Other secondary data was collected in the form of hard-copy maps and field data for water quality at a series of stations in the bay. This data was prepared for use in ArcInfo software. The results indicate that a high percentage of Izmit Bay waters are not suitable for aquaculture. The pollution in the area is causing some environmental concerns at the present and more expected in the immediate future. However, the preliminary models constructed indicated that some of the bay could be developed for aquaculture. An area of 725 hectares in the western part of the bay was classified as being suitable for turbot culture and area of 5,150 hectares in the western part of the bay was considered suitable for mussel culture.
